It's the perfect combination of both and really makes my lips look fuller. It is now 2:32 p.m. I applied it at 11:30, drank coffee. You need to make sure you use a moisturizer before applying to keep your lips from drying out. It lasts a good 6 hours or more and I love it! To make it that dark I applied it to my lips 3 times.

Where to start? Love the price, durability, finish and applicator! You need to apply a generous amount of product to avoid layering. If not 2 layers then all I normally need when dressing.
