And he loves his Valentine’s Day gift!

Our gym only had 3 2-1/2 lb plates, so any time my bodybuilding honey and I were working out at the same time, and our Wendler 5/3/1 sets called for an increase of at 5lbs, we had to wait until the other person finished their reps. He’s not a romantic type of guy, but I wanted to buy him something representing something he’d done for me that I appreciated and something he could use. Great quality but smelly

The quality and build is great but it’s made my home gym smell like discount tire even after cleaning & wiping them down with bleach cleaner. After a couple weeks I can’t tell if the smell is going away or I’m just getting use to it. Showed a video to display the size comparison to normal Olympic weight plates.

Ease of use for my opinion

I like the rubber coated plates but some rubber plates also have the rubber 2 inch hole so they catch the bar and don't slide onto the Olympic barbell well. Not a big deal but these have the solid (non-rubber) hole and slip on very easy. They also have easy to handle grips!

Received used filthy scuffed & sweaty plates

The plates arrived scuffed up and used. Not new what so ever. Could not even load up pictures to show you. The were also covered in a oily sheen which looks like old sweat.

Good 10lb - 2 inch rubber weights

Overall good quality. The two 10lb - 2 inch weights came in good condition. The weights we’re delivered fairly quick. Great product!!.

The right fit to match my current set up

I like the the plates matched perfect with the equipment I already have, the only problem was that they are out of stock on the 2.5 and 5lb plates.

Overpriced - my new review

I returned these because I realized they were too overpriced. After buying just 2 of these and paying over $200 , I found I could get a full set of weights totalling 300lbs with the bar for a little over $300

  • They arrived on time and are what they profess to be.

  • The weights may not be suitable for advanced lifters who require larger increments in weight for progressive overload training

Solid Weight Plates

These weights are very solid and well constructed. The one thing that I do NOT recommend is using them as a frisbee. Otherwise, you can't beat this deal with a stick!

Order the 15lb set of 2x 2.5lbs and 2x 5lbs. Missed the 2x 5lbs o. The first very fast shipment, contacts H&L Direct and got the rest of my order over night. Excellent service and product

Wish I had bought something else.

These are short and fat plates. They take up a ton of room on the bar. Plus they stink really bad, even 10 days after receiving them. Plus they are still getting black stuff on my hands after thoroughly wiping them down a couple times.I rather wish I had bought something else instead of these. Definitely will not buy any more. I'd love to return them.

This is an absolute rip off 2 10lb rubber plates do not and should never cost this much great inflated prices Thanks for attention.

**update: After leaving a review the company reached out to resolve the missing weight plates. I am satisfied with my purchase.The weights I received looked great but I have contacted the seller about missing plates and the issue is still not resolved.

Nice plates that are exactly as expected.

For the price these plates are exactly what I was looking for. The handles make loading and unloading convenient and are comfortable at the same time.
