I was going to mount it where the existing horn was but the instructions said the bike's vibration would likely damage the tubes and void the warranty. I found a good spot on the down tube that doesn't interfere with the fender. I put the compressor on the crossover mount on the downpipes and had to lift the tank to get the wiring. The weak link in this otherwise good horn is the horn attachment to your bike. The kit includes a pre-assembled bracket made from a radiator clamp and a piece of scrap steel bent 90 degrees and painted black. If, like me, you pride yourself on the looks of your bike, this installation strategy is just not acceptable. It comes with plenty of mounting hardware and the instructions are pretty clear.
