Good quality rivets - scrap box

Good quality rivets myself - just what I was looking for. The case that comes with it is very cheap and flimsy. The castle did not even survive the delivery. A slightly better storage box would have been very helpful.

Large assortment for every taste.

Five different sizes of rivet nuts should meet almost every need in the home and business. I started using 1/4" rivets on my many projects over a year ago and have found that things really do look better and when they are together it is better if I use different sizes of nuts ( and screws) that match what I'm building. This is a useful size range.

Handy assortment of SAE rivet nuts.

Lots of rivet nuts in this assortment. All SAE sizes. There are many 8-32s, 10-24s, and 1/4-20s for a large project. Just a couple of sizes 5/16-18 and 3/8-16 are just enough to get you out of a tight spot if you fall short. Yellow galvanized steel. A convenient storage box, but the little ones wandered into all the compartments during transport.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Some problems

Stupid plastic box.

These rivet nuts look completely normal, completely normal. I'm looking forward to a varied package for occasional projects. The suitcase is a bit silly though: it has five compartments and five types of rivet nuts, but all the rivet nuts are completely messed up, and the "map" of the compartments doesn't really correspond to the shape of the compartment. Good idea, funny, almost comical execution by the way. But anyway, you just want rivets around, right?

Decent Quality Rivet Nut Assortment

This set is heavily dependent on the #8-32, #10-24 and 1/4"-20. Good thing they also have some of the less common sizes 5 /16 require ""-18 and 3/8"-16. Yellow Zinc Plated Steel Rivet Nuts install with minimal effort. They work well with hydraulic, pneumatic, and screw-on ratchets. The coating protects against rust but after crimping they may lose some of the coated backs Kit comes with a case for storage and organization Good value for money 4 solid stars.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Requires Socket

I do a lot of DIY and most of my cars are mechanic. The rivet nut driver is a great tool when I need to drive a screw into sheet metal where I may not have easy access to the back to hold the nut to drive the screw. This is a set of 150 Yellow Zinc Plated Steel Nuts. This rivet set contains five SAE sizes: 5/16"-18 x 10pcs, #8-32 x 45pcs, 3/8"-16 x 8pcs, #10-24 x 45pcs .and 1/4"-20 x 42 pcs. The last 2 pixels is an example of what the assembled rivet nut looks like on both sides; the last…

Good range of rivet nuts

Like any other old (or not-so-old) dude tinkering around, sooner or later there will always be a project that calls for a set of rivet nuts or a knick-knack that needs it rivet nut to be replaced. Pros: This 150 piece range is a decent range if you mostly want smaller sizes. It is made of zinc plated carbon steel (stronger than aluminum) Cons: Small plastic box does not accommodate different sizes separately. They were all mixed upon arrival. The spline appears to be the same diameter as the…

Good Selection of SAE Rivet Nuts (Inch)

Summary: Rivet nuts are really useful in two situations: 1) you can't get to the back to install and/or tighten/loosen the nut, 2 ) You want to cut into material that is too thin to thread straight. Recommendations: 1) The three main materials of rivet nuts are: steel (carbon), stainless steel and aluminum. Everyone has advantages and problems. Stainless steel is the strongest and most corrosion resistant, but more difficult to install correctly. Aluminum is lighter than steel and offers…
