I love old school trees so I was excited for a Halloween version! I wish it wasn't battery powered but it's a great looking hefty product! Update October 2020: This thing LIVES batteries, both new and rechargeable, so I'm reducing my rating to 3 stars. I ended up with 16 feet of flexible LED and fed them through the holes at the bottom, I didn't have to do that.

Nice concept but paint and glue don't apply well. The light part of the battery had detached at the bottom, and most of the "bulbs" were loosely and randomly epoxy sealed, pointing in crooked directions, and light leaking around them. Looks very sloppy and impossible to fix without damaging it. The light is very bright and white, making the pumpkin sparkle like a beacon from above.

When I first unwrapped this Halloween tree I thought what a great addition to my favorite Christmas decorations. It runs on batteries so it can be placed anywhere without worrying about an outlet with extension cords etc. Then when I put the batteries in I noticed that the high/low on/off switch is on the bottom and therefore you have to lift all 8+ pounds of wood to turn it on and off. Disappointing and won't shine much

It looks great and is very festive but uses the batteries very quickly. After two nights of use, the timer ran out of three AA batteries. I thought it might be bad batteries so I replaced them with new batteries and two more nights later those fresh batteries were dead and the wood was very dull. With the timer setting, the tree will run for six hours and turn off for 18. Why need a timer when the batteries can't support it? This tree needs a fork or it will eat batteries in a season…

Looks cool enough, but if you think you're going to get a Halloween version of that cool ceramic Christmas tree your mom gave you, you'll be very disappointed. I read the reviews and was hoping my tree would be an exception but it isn't. It is very beautiful but the battery is not enough. I turned on the timer mode, worked a day, now it doesn't light up. The bottom is sealed so you can't add your own light. I was supposed to send it back but I threw away the box! Don't buy this, you will be just as disappointed. I waited a week after ordering the tree to write this review. First I bought a Halloween tree and it is absolutely adorable. Arrived well packaged, looks like the photo. but the light on the tree is very, very dim.
