When your choices are limited.

Surprisingly, Revain doesn't have many options for this type of product. I couldn't find anything at Monoprice either. They do their job. They fit both brands of Keystone I use and one of my switches. For my 16 port Trendnet Switch (TEG-S16DG) I had to make some changes. I had to cut off the high comb where the end of the cord should have been. As soon as I did that, they came up. I wish they were softer/rubberized. It's pretty hard plastic.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Happy customer

I have bought several of these. I was afraid they might not fit, but there it was. They're snug enough not to fall out, and they're easy to remove with a gentle squeeze on the comfortable handle. Since then I've bought more of the same product here at Revain with consistently good results. At the moment I protect wall sockets as well as free ports on network switches. I found that this is not a single use product - I can pop it in and out multiple times and they still fit snugly.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

I was really hoping for more from these RJ45 connector covers. I knew they were molded and didn't have the plastic spring tongue that's built into all RJ forks, so I expected a fairly tight friction fit. It's a good thing I bought a pack of 50, as the dimensional tolerances on these devices vary greatly. Some fit pretty well, while others were so loose they just rattled and fell out of the jack. Even the ones that were a little tight could easily be knocked out with a light punch. The caps are…
