Perfect replacement tank

This tank replaced my Whirlpool WHER25 R/O tank after 10 years. It was easy to install and works better than the original. Thank you to the other reviews that helped me make the right choice.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Out of style

I needed a plumber to install it.

My reverse osmosis has stopped working. I installed this but it was leaking. I called the plumber and he told me it must be pressurized (somewhat pressurized). Now everything works great.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • Poor kit

Exact Replacement - Water Filtration and Softener

This is an almost exact replacement for my old dead bladder breather tank. I checked my bladder pressure right out of the box and it showed 8psi which I increased to 9psi myself. The tank was plug and play and very easy to install.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Compatibility

good little reverse osmosis tank

Good quality out of the box. I bought this to replace the original 2007 4 gallon reverse osmosis tank. The reason I chose 2G is to change the water more frequently to avoid water stagnation. I looked at the older bacterial culture system and it was always there, hopefully there will be fewer numbers now.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Nothing

Watch out for leaks when installing - perfect replacement

No instructions needed, just make sure the top is leak proof then keep checking. For some reason my husband, who knows water bottle systems, had to drive up and check 3 times to be sure. It's just not something you would know as the item comes with no instructions as I suspect it is meant to be professionally installed. No problem - and it matched the tank I replaced perfectly!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not the best

Good replacement for my Wher 25 tank

Exact replacement for our 8 year old Wher 25 tank Well packaged and easy to install. I'm using a valve from a previous tank. Note that the previous installation didn't have teflon tape as it stuck to the metal, but I had to use teflon tape for this as the threads on the valve were on a different metal valve. Leaked without teflon tape, not with teflon tape. The tank now delivers a lot of water with each charge. Recently we got a jar with the old one, about 2 gallons now.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Perfect replacement for Whirlpool WHER25

The bladder in our original tank has failed. Contacted Whirlpool and they "offered" that while we could purchase a replacement tank through them it would be more cost effective to purchase a brand new system. It comes with filters which we don't need now but can be saved for later. I was hesitant to shell out another $300 for a full block when we just needed a new tank and figured out the price I would try. The only snag was that the valve fitting at the top didn't fit directly into the hot tub

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Expensive

Easy install, works very well

This was a replacement tank for an existing installation. The previous tank was 5 gallons and took up too much space under the sink. I've never installed this type of setup, but it was easy enough: 1) turn off the water to the reverse osmosis system; 2) turn off the old tank (for this there must be a valve on the old tank, if not, prepare a bucket and a lot of towels); 3) Disconnect (see below) the hose that goes to the old tank (you can do this at both ends but there will be some leakage; also

Pros
  • Connection: ΒΌ" NPT stainless steel Height: 14" (353 mm) Diameter: 9" (230 mm) NSF certified, food grade, post-cure membrane Lining virgin polypropylene Pre-pressure max working pressure: 100 psi
Cons
  • Expensive
