The bladder in our original tank has failed. Contacted Whirlpool and they "offered" that while we could purchase a replacement tank through them it would be more cost effective to purchase a brand new system. It comes with filters which we don't need now but can be saved for later. I was hesitant to shell out another $300 for a full block when we just needed a new tank and figured out the price I would try. The only snag was that the valve fitting at the top didn't fit directly into the hot tub system plumbing port. No problem - remove adapter fitting and connect. Fits, works and what a cost saving.
