This is my second pair. The first pair lasted 2 years of incredible violence. I weigh over 250 pounds and have been a chef. I wore these 6 nights a week up to 12 hours a day. Gravy and hot water were regularly spilled on it. I hit them with constant back and forth, sideways, I think I played table tennis with them several times. Let me start by saying that these shoes are a size and a half larger than most other Rockport or other brand shoes. These shoes are great. I waited several months to write this review because I wanted to be sure. I'm the guy who does my research before buying anything that costs more than $10. Haha! 🤣If you look at the photos I uploaded, they show shoes after almost 4 months of daily wear, whatever the weather. They are still comfortable, keep their shine and as you can see the tread hardly wears out. . I'm a teacher so these shoes have seen their fair share of long hours of standing and walking. Haha…

My husband wears 10.5 inches wide, true to size. I bought him 2 pairs. He is a tall guy and finds these shoes very comfortable for him. We will continue to purchase Rockport shoes as needed. I also love women's shoes. Rockport is one of two brands that I can customize shoes for. I never have to exchange because of the size. Always a perfect fit.

Very good comfortable shoes. Like most reviewers, they are working on a large size. The only comment I would like to make is that the color is far from the picture. The color is much duller, no redness as in the photo. Otherwise good shoes!

I really like the shoes. It took 3 times to get the right size. Started with my usual size, 10. Too big. Came back and got 9 1/2. Seems the same as 10. Returned and received 9. Perfect. Thank you Revain for the free return.

Unmatched shoes. When I'm in the office, I often go to meetings. I have one of these pedometers and I typically take about 10,000 steps in a day while I'm at work. I have owned several pairs of Rockport shoes in the past. In fact, I bought them to replace a pair I've been wearing daily for over a year and were finally wearing out. Every pair I have ever owned is a size 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I am the same size with this model and they are huge. I could fit an entire index finger and then some between my foot and the back of the shoe. It's really a problem of poor quality control. Bought as a present for my 96 year old young father. Everyone agrees that they appear perfect. Unfortunately, he will never know if they feel good on his feet. He was unable to put them on due to neuropathy and an inability to slide into shoes. Unbeknownst to me, he can only wear shoes with very wide openings (tie or velcro). Shoes are making a comeback, but they really are made out of quality leather and obviously aren't as cheap as a lot of shoes these days.
