Renewed Roku Premiere+ 4K HDR Streaming 📺 Player: Enhanced Entertainment Experience at an Affordable Price Review

This is exactly what I needed after buying a new 4k TV. This thing works like magic and the mic is amazing too. I love this thing and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys watching HBO, Showtime, PBS, etc. Most modern TVs only come with Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. This piece has all that and more. I've also noticed that 4K on this device feels a lot more powerful and "true" on screen rather than watching apps directly on your smart TV.

I purchased a refurbished Roku Premiere. The price was much lower. It looks and works like new. The Roku device is tiny. Probably more highly integrated circuits. Also, it helps to have physical connections. USB micro for power supply, HDMI for signal output. Both cables are included with the device. The Fire Stick should be the only streaming device we'll ever need. But its Wi-Fi coverage was terrible, its user interface became less intuitive with each update, its capacity was pathetic, reboots were slow, unpredictable, and spontaneous. In comparison, the Roku is so fast, so smooth, and so perfect that it completely beats the Fire Stick. We will never return.

NO connection to 5GHz WIFI bands. It only connects to 2GHz WiFi bands. 5gz is perfect for 4K TVs. There's no headphone jack on the remote (compared to Roku 3).

I mostly use a couple of FireTV sticks and a Roku, and I use them quite often to connect to Tablo at home. Unfortunately, the latest update of the FireTV Tablo app causes a lot of problems with the Tablo device. The Tablo app on Roku has not been updated and is working fine. I really like the speed improvement over the stock Roku Stick I have, it was probably a 2016 model. The only reason he Doesn't get 5 stars is that like all joysticks, fire sticks etc it doesn't have a numeric keypad to jump straight to the channel you want. Alexa works great with volume and power, but the next frontier is the number pad.
