I have this laid out over my over-stuffed leather loveseat and it’s plenty big. I intend to put it over the hide-a-bed at my vaca rental.The material feels very nice and not irritating to bare skin. The product description lists" L shape chaise sofa” as one of the options, so that’s why I got this cover. That’s the sofa we have, so for some reason I thought it would somehow fit the whole thing. I was wrong. So we put it on the chaise part and it’s just kind of weird since it’s basically a big blanket with no structure.I do like how soft it is, and that’s it’s machine washable. so this is a thin, oversized blanket to put on the couch but it is made of heavier duty material. we have a sectional and it does not cover the entire thing so a normal sized couch should be ok. it's not a true slip cover so you will constantly be adjusting it so that it hangs over the back and comes down to cover the cusions. after sitting on it for awhile, getting up and sitting back down, you hae to readjust the top of it. kind of annoying but it's soft, covers the couch etc.

I was afraid this might looks sloppy, like I had just thrown a big blanket over the couch, but it looks better than expected. The material is very thick, almost a chenille, has a bit of shimmer in it like a chenille. I tucked it into the cushions at each end and it looks very nice. Maybe a bit too nice for the dog to sleep on :) Better than expected, you won’t be disappointed.

The quality of this fabric is awesome, very soft and durable. I bought the xlarge for my 3 seat couch and it works great, like other reviews have said it doesn't cover the full back but if your couch sits against the wall you will be fine. Overall really impressed with this purchase.
