Works but prevents shutdown and generates lots of EFI

It works as a USB3.0 adapter and gave me much faster I/O to an external USB3.0 SSD. However, I gave up because of three major problems: 1. After it was installed, my computer wouldn't turn off. If you initiate the shutdown via the OS or even with the power button in the BIOS or during POST, it just reboots every time. Tried different PCIe slots, no change. I tried a few other random PCIe cards on the same computer to make sure it wasn't a problem with my computer and no other cards were causing

I took some stupid steps to get it working on B350 (AMD) Ryzen motherboard

Working. Something like. At first I only got throughput and no data. Code 10 error in Windows and wrong driver installed by Windows 10 by default. This happened until I disabled my wireless card that was in a different PCIe slot, put a USB card in that slot, and then moved the wireless card to a different slot. The system worked all the time. It seems that this is the only way to install the desired driver. I can't explain why that could be. The product is now working and the driver hangs on…

Not working (Windows 10-1703, AMD X370)

Despite following the Windows 10 installation instructions, trying generic drivers and even trying different physical slots nothing helped to get the card working.
