Let me start this review by saying that there should be differences in the product delivered. The cord I received looked exactly like the photo, but didn't have GI Plus written on it, it was actually marked Rothco Nylon Paracord, 550 Type III Commercial. It doesn't say "mil-spec", but it does say 550 lb Test 7 Strand made by "US Government Certified Contractor".
