Cuts through oak like butter

Nice and sharp, ideal for cutting finger grooves on the edges of an oak chopping board I make. I was worried about fire as oak is really tough but it made a nice clean cut.

Great router at a reasonable price

I installed the router on my router table, ran a test pattern and was happy with the cut and finish. I used a bit to cut a radius groove in maple that worked great without burning or chipping. So far very satisfied.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Does not fit the description. Fits cutter

I ordered a double flute, the description says double flute, the box says double flute, but this is a single blade nozzle. Granted, the promotional image is a flute, but the images are often generic. You can see in my photo that she is single. To return.

BIT QUALITY good for router parts and accessories

Yes I agree with Tideway, never heard of it. This is the goalkeeper. I'm making a 66 foot white oak canopy and needed a new 1/2 inch stock piece before I started. Carbide tipped, it cuts smooth and shapes like a champ. Compared to most major brands, it looks the same but costs half.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Minor issues

Excellent value for money - power tools and hand tools

I had very low expectations for this bit but it fits all the exceptions I have for bits that cost 3-4 times more. I need to add a drip tray to my cutting board and was hoping this piece would be used one day. It cuts smoothly and creates a clean channel in the board. I will buy more beats from Tideway.

Really sharp and really hard!

This specific size was needed for a project and it was absolutely perfect for the job! It was very strong and very sharp and made the perfect cut. For that kind of money I didn't expect such a good thing - believing that if it lasts for the time enough for this project, then not much money is lost. But this bit lasts a lot longer and for the money you can't go wrong! I am very happy!

Pros
  • Edge and Groove Drill
Cons

Impressive performance for the price

I used this 9/16 inch (1-1/8 inch diameter) radius cutter to trim the edge radii on the bottom edge of a large oriental white pine mantel. The final radius was 5/8" and I had an expensive 1-1/4" European pro bit for finishing. The radii were cut across the full width to a depth of 3/4 inch and the excess wood on the outside of the milled steps was sawed off after the radii were made. That's probably 98% stock removal, decreasing by 1/4 inch. in 1/16" increments leaving only about 1/32" of…

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • Lightly torn
