The camera keeps turning on and off. Sometimes it won't load videos which I have to keep formatting on the SD card. The camera is very lost in the holder

Waste of money. It never connected to my wifi, the buttons are so small you can't see them. The SMS card didn't fit in the slot and when I bought a new one it did, but kept telling me it was full. I did everything I could to put the card in and then when I charged it it said the battery was low. I gave it to my son to sort through. I will not buy this brand again.

The DVR was received a few days ago and installed on my truck immediately. As for my first review, I am very happy with the workmanship, looks sturdy, beautiful and well polished. I watched the video on Dash Cam Player and I'm glad the GPS is working. The map is there and the tracks are shown, nice. .We'll give you an update if anything comes up, but for now- Good job Rovi can buy another one for my projector.

The only problem I've had is with this camera randomly turning off after unpacking. Initially, the support staff helped quickly. But as time went on, they became more and more slow to react. As a result, sometimes they don't even reply for more than a month. I almost got hit a couple of times and when I look at the footage the damn thing isn't even recording! I really wanted to like it.

Does not work immediately after installation. Called the company twice and left messages for someone and was told they would call back. After 5 days they are gone. Email sent asking for help, no response. I don't think this will work because the camera requires a 5A input but the included cigarette lighter only outputs 2A, but I'm not sure. I would ask if they ever answered.

I'm not an electrician but every time I removed the unit during the first tests the mains filter fuse blew and the unit got very hot. The device magnetically detached from the charger/dash holder when rotating the camera (good idea). There was also a bad USB cable, but the company sent a replacement. I liked the size and the iPhone app was ok. Customer service was good but this device is not for me.

I really like this camera, so far the best I've had in my work truck. The quality of the recorded video is really amazing. Wifi is really good and downloads fast. I bought the GPS version not only to track my location but also to allow the camera to sync the date and time with the GPS. So my only complaint is NO, it's not - I have to connect via Wi-Fi every morning and sync through my phone's app for a moment for the camera to update the date and time.

Purchased in December 2018. The camera uses Rovi WiFi, not Bluetooth, so I had issues: #1 Rovi WiFi overrides 4G and Bluetooth, so I would first Connect my Spotify and car Bluetooth, then connect the camera, otherwise everything was wrong. #2 When playing on the phone, the app had sound but stopped working. #3 The chamber started to heat up. #4 In-app playback did not play. I just got a DVR and went for a walk. The quality is excellent and the ability to stream live on FB (hope you all know what a social media platform is) adds another dimension.
