🔧 Enhance Engine Performance with Royal Purple 20-51A Extended Life Premium Oil Filter Review

I've been using this filter and Royal Purple oil in my wife's car since 2012 after driving the car over 100,000 miles without a single problem.

Received rusted filter, requested and received refund; The replacement filter is also rusty. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a filter.

I liked the RP oil filter as I'm a big fan of their motor oil. Sent this filter back, the replacement was just a little less rusty. Went to the local Pep Boys and sure enough the 20-51A they had was rusty too. Although there were no other RP oil filter part numbers.

Had a rusty block as others have described when I returned Royal Purple oil filters. Sent for return and refund. I will not be buying any more Royal Purple products. This was my first and last purchase of Royal Purple products.

The Royal Purple filter may cost a little more than anything else, but it contains no cellulose (paper); all durable fabric. In addition, plastic does not give way and does not melt. The chassis is even thicker and heavier metal than most. I have fitted all my cars with these filters over the last few years. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Without a doubt these are the best oil filters on the market today. Save hassle, time and money by going into any store and buying the best filter on their shelf as you can easily order Royal Purple here at Revain. This synthetic oil filter lasts at least 6-8 months depending on driving style and terrain. I've been changing the oil in all my cars myself since my first and now that I'm (much) older I enjoy the fact that I don't get under my car any more than I should.

Damn good filter. You can feel the difference between this and Wix/NAPA just by holding them in your hands. This one is heavier. The metal case is thicker. Gasket looks "thicker". I gave it a star because there was a tiny piece of metal on the central threaded part. Many filters can contain tiny pieces of metal. This one just got my attention. I will buy this again. It even has better filtering results than Wix filters. I wish they would put this gross stuff on the "lower" end of the can like…

What the heck. I did not order a rusty, dirty filter with a destroyed factory packaging. There's no chance of that happening to my Corvette if I send this junk back to Revane. Dirt in the threaded filter cap and o-ring doesn't give me confidence in the install. A filter in this higher price range should be intact.
