AWESOME value for money. I love this brand and the quality of their paint so the deal was amazing. I use it on canvas, fabric, mixed with media, whatever. Great paint, great!

Amsterdam is definitely a notch above the base color. In a way I can understand paying more for better paint, but not being a pro I'm still on a budget. This set was much cheaper than buying individual tubes.

I love the depth of the pigments. I cast acrylics and the smooth body of these pigments makes them easy to mix with mediums. White mixed with equal parts Deco Art Satin Enamal makes a stunning weave! (Dilute to desired consistency.)

Red and Blue are not primary Or they weren't in my backpack. The reason for getting primary colors is to be able to mix colors. This makes it a bit more difficult to work with non-primary colors. And they are rather dirty.

I bought this after seeing an online artist doing amazing floral work. The tubes are easy to use and the colors blend well. My skills are not as advanced as an online artist. I thought white looked chalky and was disappointed as mixing it with other colors made them chalky. I then bought Liquitex Heavy Body colors and preferred their depth of colour. I continue to use the Amsterdam brand but prefer Liquitex.

Should have read before buying. The so-called "primary colors" in this set are not red, yellow and blue, but magenta, yellow and cyan. Now the colors look nice and creamy, but when I painted I saw that it's more of a transparent color? I don't know if anyone else has this problem. I love this brand of acrylic paints. They say it's a set of primary colors plus white and black, but "red" is a primary magenta and blue is too light to be a primary blue, and that's the name of that primary cyan. Although this brand does not sell a paint that says "Primary Blue", I think the phthalo blue is closer to the primary blue than what comes with the kit. But I saw the price and didn't think it was bad so ignore the description and one more purple color review, I bought it anyway…
