Comfortable in the Summer

I have no need to keep my feet warm but they ironically do keep my feet cool in hot weather. It's said that sandals are best for the heat but thick socks in hiking boots actually feels cooler, perhaps because the socks breathe and the feet have no sun and sweat. My feet do sweat a little but the socks generally feel dry when I take them off after a full day walking in the park on a summer day. Thick socks are what make hiking boots great, as you can walk for miles like its nothing compared to…

Pros
  • Breathable design that ensures proper ventilation for feet
Cons
  • May have a limited lifespan

Warm tossies in my review

Been using these everyday on my walks - so comfortable - make sure you have a loose fitting shoes as they are thicker than most sports socks.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • May not have adequate arch support for those with high arches

Rated High Against Others

I have bought other similar socks that seem just as warm. These socks are softer to the touch. They fit like a glove. Give them a try.

Pros
  • Socks
Cons
  • Users may need to break them in before they are comfortable

Not My Preferred Fit

Like many brands of socks in this category, these tend to run a little baggy. I ordered size L, for my shoe size 11 feet. I like my socks to fit snugly on my feet so they stay put when I put my shoes/boots on. These tend to stretch when putting on shoes, hence a bunch of sock at the top of the shoe. Otherwise, they are fine.

Pros
  • Super thick, good quality, great price
Cons
  • May not be suitable for warmer weather

Very comfortable and thick

Just received the socks, haven’t worn them out for a true review however I put them on and walked around the house. Just from the few minutes of having them on I can tell the quality of the socks, very thick and comfortable. The packaging says hand wash which I probably won’t do, so if they fall apart by washing them in the washing machine I’ll follow up with the review.

Pros
  • Love these socks!! Order them!! You won’t be disappointed!!
Cons
  • Could stretch out over time

Great product: my feedback

By far the warmest socks I have ever purchased. I live in New York and work outdoors most of the time. The winter can get pretty cold here and I’ve gone through a dozen different products. This one really works well.

Pros
  • Era más corto de lo que esperaba
Cons
  • Socks may not fit all foot sizes comfortably

Durable and warm! in my review

I have ordered 3 or 4 pairs of these socks because I love them. I am at home most of the time and don't wear shoes in the house. My feet get very cold, however, (being 75 probably doesn't help) so I wear these wool socks. They are very durable with the nylon component added to the wool, but even so, the heel wears through after a whole year of daily wear. That is truly amazing. I hear everyone raving about SmartWool socks. Well, yeah, they're probably fine if you wear shoes or slippers, but…

Pros
  • 50% Merino Wool, 34% Acrylic Fiber, 14% Nylon, 2% Spandex
Cons
  • May require special care instructions

Great socks good for me

And quite a bargain to boot, er, well, they've got soul? I'm not fussy, but someone is likely to complain about the color (s). I ordered navy, but knew they'd be bluish gray; OK for me. However, an accurate color descriptive might better be " blugra" or "grablu"--even slate would probably satisfy most. Call 'em what you will they're toasty comfortable socks.

Pros
  • Climate regulating properties that keep feet warm in cold weather and cool in warm weather
Cons
  • Not suitable for dress socks

Great socks, very warm

Great socks, very warm. They're wool so if you don't want them to shrink you shouldn't launder them with the rest of your clothes. I did because I'm lazy and they shrank slightly, but still have plenty of stretch in them to fit comfortably.

Pros
  • Love the packaging. Great socks!
Cons
  • Socks may leave lint in shoes after prolonged use

RTZAT Merino Wool Socks.

I wore them for the first time today for work, and Oh My ! Warm, thick, and comfy ! I'm on my feet all day, and thesesocks felt great. I didn't hand wash or hang dry them and no problem so far. I think they will hold up well.

Pros
  • Provides excellent value for money due to its high quality and long-lasting performance
Cons
  • Too tight

Cozy and comfy - my new review

The product fits well and the fabric is comfortable. The material doesn't give much and the socks trend to fall with excessive movement.

Pros
  • Long-lasting, soiling, and staining-resistant due to high quality materials
Cons
  • Can lose shape over time

Not as thick as i thought they would be.

These Socks were just ok, medium thickness only and 50% Merino wool, better choices out there for thicker socks with more wool content.

Pros
  • Men
Cons
  • Not suitable for sensitive skin types

Durable but sheds a lot

These socks are durable, think, cozy and not itchy (as far as wool socks go). They do shed a lot. Even after washing a few times.

Pros
  • Hiking & Outdoor Recreation
Cons
  • May need to be washed frequently to maintain quality

Female Carpenter - Perfect for long days in the cold

It is so hard to find work clothes for women but these are the best, thick socks I have found! I wear these with a base layer of wool socks and they have worked great for 10-hour days in this unusually cold KC winter.

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with narrow feet

Great socks, but they don't breathe well.

I took these out on a hard 10 mile Mountaineering hike through rough terrain and water to the top of a 12k peak in Idaho. It rained and snowed along the way and the socks kept my feet warm and comfortable the entire time. My only complaint is that they are not very breathable and my feet started to sweat at the end.

Pros
  • Marm and comfy
Cons
  • Socks may slide down during use
