I bought this broom many years ago and mainly used it for mopping floors. I used a damp rag, poked it with this broom and used a clean wet rag as needed. My first broom head broke and would no longer hold onto the pole. I recently discovered that it was possible to order a replacement brush head, so I replaced it. Given the relatively high cost of replacing the entire brush, I'm happy with this option and look forward to using it again.

I bought my original rubber broom at a house show in Seattle about 12 years ago (at least!) and took it on the plane back to Albuquerque. Four years ago he came to San Diego with me. I really like it. Me and that to keep my house clean and hair free. Gather all long strands. I've seen some people say it doesn't pick up the hair from the carpet onto the broom, well it happens when you move the broom back and forth and the hair gets tangled in the broom. This works in one go, but if you have a lot of hair I would suggest going back and forth very lightly to use this broom. I got my long stick from a hardware store and it fits the head perfectly.

I would give this rubber broom 5 stars if it had at least 2 or 3 rows of rubber tines. I have had a larger one for 20 years which has been very effective at removing snow from my car. This size requires multiple swipes. I ordered this one thinking it would be bigger but it wasn't so I sent it back. I already had this smaller size and find it frustrating to clear snow off a car. I use it but am still looking for a larger size. The broom itself is great! Just not for my needs.

I have had Sweepa brooms for over a decade and I give some to friends and family who have lots of pets.
