I use these containers to store soups and stews in the fridge or freezer or to send them to college with my son (no leaks!). Very durable even though I throw them in the dishwasher all the time. I have used this Rubbermaid line for decades and have never been disappointed.

It's not big enough for a standard 3D printing filament spool (60mm+). Here's some crap. :(It's actually the perfect size, just the shape of the lid and box, cuts a few miles and you can't close it. So guess I have to store groceries in it? :D

Bought a few of these different sizes to replace mismatched plastic storage containers. They keep food fresh and stack up nicely, and take up a lot less space than their predecessors. Don't pay much attention to red. I love that the same cap size fits several different base sizes. They get super clean in the dishwasher.

I've bought enough stain-prone, poorly designed and unsuitable junk plastic over the years to know the quality when I get it. I've been using these containers for two months now. You are fantastic. Lids are strong. Rubber is flexible. ventilation works! The food stays fresh. The microwave does not deform containers. Just a good buy.

For reference, this is not "Super transparent bases allow you to see contents better." I have several of these - where the bases are crystal clear hard plastic. On the other hand, it is a translucent flexible plastic. They serve the same purpose but do not match the description.

I ordered that they can hold items 2 3/4 inches tall thinking it would fit with a container over 3 Customs would not be a problem. However, what they don't tell you is that there is a hump in the bottom plastic and that the lid protrudes into the container as well. Their internal height is just under 2 1/2 inches. I am giving this product a bad rating because of the stickers/labels on the product. I'm usually very happy with Rubbermaid's containers, we have quite a few of them. However, the 3x9 mug set had Rubbermaid stickers and product information stickers that would not peel off without serious scratching. Either this set was very old, the glue had cured from the heat, or they switched to a new type of glue that doesn't allow paper labels to be peeled off, but peeling is too much work for the price…

These will last a lifetime. Lids fit well. You are pretty wonderful. I bought them to hold sugar and flour and they only fit a little.
