Great camera but I knew what I was buying when I took this would overheat. This means you cannot use it as a DVR. Although it will work like a hat camera. - WiFi/app is a bit finicky. Sometimes it crashes so starting/stopping recording is unreliable. But you can adjust it with buttons. It still lacks the robust settings that already exist and that many other camera manufacturers have. They just didn't add it to the app.

The original camera was defective for a few months, the power was blocked and I couldn't do anything about it, so I contacted the seller and they agreed to replace the internal parts, but I had to pay $32 shipping for genuine parts. I bought this device to attach to some of my model airplanes and record flight videos. So far this little guy has done a pretty good job. I think the included user manual could explain things better and it would be great if all the settings could be done through the app. However, the main functions are easy to use. Wi-Fi is great for adjusting camera angle etc. but the range is very limited so live view is only possible when connected to the VTX via cable. I think the video quality is excellent
