Works as it should

These motors work as they should. PLEASE NOTE if you can fit a new pin of the correct size you can use it on long wheelbase vehicles. Be sure to disassemble the rear pivot cleanly and lubricate it with waterproof grease.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Piggy bank Price

Saved me at least $1100

Great product. Easy installation after figuring out that the lever holding the rail had to be open to access all the screws. To do this, all I had to do was plug in the new motor and turn the tuning board so the lever was out when it was sealed.

Pros
  • Very good price

Easy installation: footpegs and steps

Save time and effort by purchasing a swivel mount motor. I used to go cheap and just ordered the motor and it opened but only half closed. Also, removing the old one from the hinge bracket is a real pain. I received this yesterday and decided to fit it today, all in all it took about 45 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one, probably cutting that to 30 could become. All I need is a 1/2" socket and a 5mm allen wrench, this was on a 2007 Lincoln Navigator.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other footpegs

Poor quality control

Bought new assembly (motor and joint). The engine runs well but the connecting harness is too short to fit in its own bracket. The bracket is part of the assembly so this was an apparent manufacturing defect that needed to be found and fixed, not just boxed and shipped. The product is too expensive to have such a flaw. There are cheaper ones on the market that I could expect that from. I spent more for a higher quality item and ended up having to tie the wiring harness in place instead of using

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete model
