Had high hopes for this pad but not for me. Makes a mess as the pad doesn't pick up products that cause splatter. The area you are working on remains very wet and has difficulty breaking the connection. Very good, but does not scratch the paint.

This is a very aggressive pad but I used it after wet sanding with compound. I mostly used a Rupes Green Pad for blending, but even after wet sanding with 3000 grit there were some pretty bad scratches. I have used this Rupes Blue Pad in combination with the Sonax CutMax and the results have been fantastic.

Bought a car for the first time and was delighted with the result! I didn't originally buy any rulebooks. I received several pads from my financial support. Overall I was happy. So I decided to buy Rupees because I thought they could only get better and I was thrilled to see what the pads were capable of. To his great dismay, it fell apart before he could complete the first car. The pads I got from my supplier (not in rupees) lasted about 5 cars.

Updated Review. I learned that Rupes Bigfoot is a complete system with its own special pads and special compounds and polish. So specialized that they color code the right compounds to match the right gasket. Rupes Zephir Gloss (see attached photo) is the right coarse cleaner for this pad. It's more of a gel than a typical liquid like M105. Therefore, if used correctly, the product will not "reset". You also don't have to bake or prime the pad like you would with a regular foam or microfiber…
