Bought for my son for Christmas. This hat is very warm. He loves the way it fits and looks. Since he runs a lot even in cold weather his head will be warm and the visor will really help to protect his eyes from the sun.

I don't understand why people say it's uncomfortably long. It is designed to be worn this way and the image shows exactly how it will look when worn as intended. It is lined on the inside and very warm. I wore it to a few golf games this winter and have no regrets.

I bought this hat because it covers my mouth and chin which has helped my mask fit better but to be honest this hat is too big. You'll have a visor over your eyes, or you'll have to pull it up high enough to look like one of the Coneheads' long-lost relatives! Otherwise it is soft and warm.

Today I received my Ruphedy Mens Visor Beanie Knit Hat, B5042 Newsboys warm, thick fleece hat for the winter. I'm a woman who wears a small to medium beanie (about 7.5). The quality of this hat is better than I expected (considering the low price) and the fabric and stitching are thick and winter ready. I haven't washed the hat yet, so I can't comment on that. I will update later.

I really like this hat and when I received it I was so impressed that I immediately bought it for a friend as a gift and showed it to my girlfriend. She liked it too, but it was too big for her and they don't offer a smaller one. I can't say if it will last long because it's quiet, but I can't buy better locally. It's weird how all the hat sellers have different brand labels which tells me all the labels are fake but I don't care as they are unobtrusive and removable.
