Easy Clean - Kitchen & Bathroom Plumbing

The well pump's sand filter allows some particles to pass through the line. This filter cleans very well. There are a lot of them, 1 on the main cord for every 100 stitches. 500 after res and pump

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Irritant

Works well but cannot be cleaned

We have a well and need a filter for our sprinkler system. It works well but needs to be replaced every year as it cannot be cleaned after it has trapped dirt and silt from the well.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Appearance

Excellent quality worked as expected

This filter is much stronger than my original. I think it will last much longer than others. Just be careful not to overtighten them. Use the Teflon tape provided with the filter to reduce thread wear.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Weight

Missing item: Replacement water filter

Product arrived without flush shut-off/ball valve. on 3/4” vlv instead of returning the item and waiting. Ordered another one for my parents house, let's see how it goes down.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Use 3-4 turns of teflon tape and hand-tighten the threaded fitting.

Nice little filter. I use them to remove sand from an automatic well water sprinkler system. I had to replace several sprinklers a year. If they work, they pay for themselves in about 2 years. Use Street 90s at the inlet and outlet of the filter to minimize riser assembly size.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Operating speed

Great well water filter but needs some wiring work.

Eliminates clogged sprinkler problems. My well water was high in iron and the filters in my sprinkler systems kept clogging. I was afraid the flow would be limited, but that's not a problem. It was a bit cumbersome to buy the right glue in the fittings, it would be better if the body were screwed.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different

Works great, just needs topping up.

The filter works great with minimal pressure/flow drop but my only complaint is that it slips compared to the FPT. It seems silly to make this overlay fit because if you ever need to change anything, you'll have to leave the extra pipes. I wanted a 3/4 filter but bought a 1" filter so I could use a 1" x 3/4" adapter to thread the body. I will install more though as the filter generally works well.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Easy to install sand separator.

Failed to load media. I just installed it on 09/13/21. It seems to work. I simply cut out a small section of the existing pipe from my well and glued a sand separator into it. I may have used too much glue, but at first it leaked and popped out. The old chimney was badly weathered by the sun and I think it actually got a little smaller over time because the sun was eating away at it. Anyway, I carefully sanded it down and reapplied some primer and glue. It's holding up well now. No leaks. Let's
