I bought in August 2017 and it just burned out last week

I love RUSK Professional hair dryers, dry my thick fine hair quickly with minimal frizz. However, they are expensive - so I was very disappointed when he burned out last week after 13 months and started smoking. And this was the second one I got. I got one a few months ago that had a spin speed switch, but I kept turning it off when styling my hair because the switch was too sensitive. I switched to this more expensive one and I liked it, but I don't like this, now I have to figure out how to…

Finally found the one

I've been looking for hair dryers for over a month. I wanted a "fancy" hair dryer since I've only used $20-$30 drugstore models before. I bought a trendy one and it was awful so I returned it and then finally found this one and am very happy. Lightweight, powerful, with good temperature variation, long cord and easy to use. Hair became softer and healthier after use. I have very thick, colored, very short hair and this blow dryer works great. I just towel dry my hair, brush it out and then it…

Great air performance for hair dryers and accessories

Thank god I found it. My old Remington that expelled tons of air is dead. I tried my mom's newer version and it was awful. There is no strong air and I felt like I was prepping my hair. This super freak is exactly what I wanted. Wind energy for safe and fast hair drying. Day one and I'm happy. I'll post an update when it breaks, but for now I'm glad I found something even better than my 10 year old Remington that I loved. In this case, it was worth reading hundreds of reviews and a higher…

4 years 7 months still valid!

I bought this dryer 4.5 years ago (February 2015 - September 2019) and it still works. The ONLY reason I went back to the market for a dryer was that the surface got very sticky and couldn't even be removed with a Googon. I don't use sprays that are supposed to rinse off, just smoothing oils. It's as if the plastic is finally melting after all these years of use. No complaints so far - it has never let me down and I still use it. I have thick, thin, straight hair that ranges from shoulder…

Super shine and engine keeps.

I bought this hair dryer in 2012 when I wanted to go pro. Dryer. My hair is naturally long, thick and wavy, I brush my hair 2-3 times a week on average and this has made straightening my hair with a rotary brush a relative breeze with great results. Surprisingly, it actually lasted 8 years, and although the engine still worked well, the body, the fork broke, which ended in a love affair. I've seen others complaining about this issue so it may need some extra care if it's unplugged, but as I…

Uncomfortable to hold and blows too much

I had a rusk dryer which this model probably replaced. I loved my first rusk. It went like this for 5 years. This new model blows hard and should have a lower speed setting. I'm considering returning it because it dries too quickly and I can't style my hair as well as I could with the first hair dryer I had. uncomfortable to hold. I always hit the cool button because that's how you have to hold it. Levers for changing temperature and speed also interfere. It was more expensive and I find it…
