Amazing results and easy to use!

This is an absolutely amazing product that is so easy to use. I didn't even need an app and was able to scan almost 600 slides from the 1950s in about 90 minutes. I thought it was going to take forever, but once I got my camera set up, all I had to do was pop in the slide, take a picture, and move on. Just as a note, I used a 3.3x magnification with a 4 by 3 aspect ratio. This seemed to work with almost all of the slides. I tried the included app for a short time, but found it rather useless…

Pros
  • Scanners and Accessories
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Simple, easy to use and works very well!

15 years ago I was given several hundred family slides from the 50s and 60s. Back then it was very expensive to print them all. They sat in a drawer the whole time until I came across this simple yet effective way to convert slides and negatives to digital format. At first I doubted the quality would be that good, but after my first try I was very impressed with the ease of use, clarity and high quality of the copy. A few tweaks with the edit function on my iPhone and the colors are real again.

Pros
  • Scanner
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Good, but.

A cheap slide scanner for smartphones (actually a digitizer) has just arrived. My very old PrimeFilmThat scanner makes much better copies, but its drivers no longer work with my Windows 8 and 10 computers. However, for $30 I think it's a pretty good deal. My Android phone (Moto G6) had a few issues that I had to work through first. The distance between the phone's lens and the film is too small for the Moto to focus, but I was able to fix this by inserting a half-inch spacer. to move the phone…

Pros
  • slide and negative scanner
Cons
  • boring packaging
