Love it, it's perfect for my house with a shared bathroom, I use my straightener, unplug it, put it up my sleeve and I no longer worry who hits it and burns itself, I also put a flat iron on it while using it and my bathroom countertop still feels cool.

I have a 2 year old that I have to supervise A LOT so sometimes I have to put down my straightener, curling iron or wand and minutes after leaving it I have burn marks. Very handy to have, perfect for any clumsy person like me. I often burn myself on the curling iron while cooking. Even when my iron is at the highest temperature I put my hand on the pocket and it's not hot! Ideal if you have small or mosquitoes. I've found that it protects my surfaces even if I forget to put it on the small stand. It's pretty light and I'm sure I'll use it to store my hair tools when traveling.

Bought this for a recent trip. It worked wonderfully. I've used it under my curling iron as I put the curling iron on the counters at the various places we've stayed. It worked as a heat resistant mat when my curling iron fell over for some reason. After I was done, I just put my curling iron in and wasn't worried. I really like this rug. I usually just put my flat iron on it, but if I also use a curling iron, they both fit, but it's tight. Really only useful for one hot tool at a time. The bag is cool although I didn't have to use it. It's definitely heat resistant, I haven't had any issues with it, and since it's a pouch, it has enough layers that I don't have to worry about my granite countertops. Love!

The purpose of this purchase was to ensure that I could pack my iron up immediately after use and get ready for work after a morning workout at the gym. You put the iron in your bag and it feels warm, but it's protected enough to slip into my gym bag without burning or heating anything nearby. Serves its purpose and I'm not worried about my other stuff in the bag. A win!
