Ideal for removing adhesive in thin layers

I used this bad boy in my SDS Plus when demonstrating 1300 sq. foot tiles in my house. I started out by renting a professional thinning and tiling knife from a large orange crate store and after tightening the screws three times in an hour decided to buy it for next day delivery. This little guy saved me a lot of time by removing the superfluous stuff. The screws didn't come loose at all but continued to push through the thin layer and scratched the old rolled vinyl floor. Be prepared if you have a big project

Project: Kitchen 16 x 12 ceramic tile removal. Pros: Overall, this floor scraper has served its purpose. Cons: Hour 1 the screws were loose. It turned out that a Loctite type product could have been used. I tried tightening but the lock washers had snapped off. Trip 1 to L Shop for new washers, backup locknuts and blue Loctite. Day 1 held everything. Day 2: Bolt 1 sheared off at the head. Drive 2 to the shop for new screws. Only replaced one as the Loctite held on the other 2. In the middle of…

The perfect tool for removing dried tissue!

When I first tried tiling myself, I had to make a few mistakes. Because of these mistakes, I had to pull out some tiles that I hadn't prepared properly or apply a thin coat properly. Picking up the tile was easy, but I was left with the task of removing the hard thin set. Attaching to the SDS Plus Puncher in hammer-only mode made this easier.
