I'm not giving 1 star because I'm not sure if that's really the reason, but the SSD worked fine with a regular SATA connection. It seemed normal for a while, but suddenly one day after a reboot all data was done. Before that, the SSD went through hundreds of reboots on a SATA connection and had no signs of problems with it and still no other signs of problems.
