Incredibly cheap solution to expand your workspace

I wanted to add a third monitor so the office girl can see the parking lot. I had a 7th Gen Intel NUC with USB-C and HDMI outputs, so I decided to try this adapter, although I was very skeptical. I'm a Sabrent fan. I have many of their great adapters (e.g. USB to SATA, USB to IDE cables etc) that I use every day, fingers crossed for this one. Arrived. The monitor is installed, all cables are connected, the system is powered on and BOOM: three monitors, like a charm. Highly recommended. Best of…

Works very well with my iMac.

I just received my newest (Retina 5K 27 inch 2019) iMac. I have 2 monitors plus iMac. Not wanting to give up my two iMac Thunderbolt 3 ports, I figured this would be the way to go. Thunderbolt 3 on iMac. I booted up the computer for the first time and it just worked. I had to arrange monitors in system preferences but it only took 1 minute. Dual monitors run at 60Hz, standard display. So far I'm very happy with this product and still have one available Thunderbolt 3 port on my multi-display…

My system doesn't support it

The internal drivers for it don't seem to be compatible with Win 10 1903. Can't get it to work. I also tried to get new drivers for it but the manufacturer doesn't have them on the website. I think I have to send it back. **Update** I have since found out that the new laptop I ordered does not support USB-C video. So I can't blame the adapter. I just have to use a USB 3 adapter instead. Two stars have been added due to this fact.

A wedding in heaven!

This is exactly what I needed to get my MacBook Pro 2019 running in enhanced mode. This product is plug and play and Thunderbolt 3 ready. Turned my MacBook Pro into a dual monitoring workstation. I can run a 3 monitor setup if I choose not to close my MacBook. Make sure you have a decent laptop cooling pad and give your laptop some ventilation space. This product consumes a lot of power and you can overheat your processor if you use it in clamshell mode for too long. 5 Stars.

Check before you buy!

I bought this for a dual monitor as my laptop has a 'DisplayPort Alternate Mode' over USB-C which I used previously (at work). But before the purchase I stopped searching on Google for this topic. If I did, I would find countless people who have tried the same thing and couldn't make it work with this product. In short I would not recommend this product as technically it should work but not for me. I will say that I contacted the support team and they replied within 2 days but the first thing…

I've searched everywhere.

I've bought at least three different products from Revain and was looking for something that would allow me to have two monitors showing "different" screens at the same time. I guess I needed something that "extends" the screens, not "splits". (I'm sure my IT friends will understand what I'm talking about; I don't bloody hell know!) I finally stumbled across this "USB Type-C" adapter and I'm very happy with it. It worked great and was very cheap. I haven't owned it long but I expect it will…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Disappear

I've been looking for an adapter that doesn't just mirror/duplicate the main display for a long time. Most adapters on the market are really just splitters that can only duplicate. It might be useful for some people but not what I need. However, this one finally allows me to get the functionality I need to extend my desktop. Different tasks, different backgrounds, different resolutions, in general how it should work if my mobo had 2 native HDMI ports. I'm very happy, now I can get back to my…

Pros
  • Support TYPE-C input, dual HDMI output.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

It works NOT Mac OS compatible except 4k/60Hz

I looked at all the expensive docking stations and my challenge was to connect my 2 4K monitors to the latest 2017 MacBook Pro. One thing I noticed is that you need the right cables (PC connected to DP) so I ordered certified HDMI 2.0 cables (mandatory for 4k) from Monoprice. I tried not to connect any other cables to the T3 bus on this side and connected the port expander for USB/etc to the other bus. It worked the first time, but no matter what I tried I could only get 4K/30Hz. Since I'm not…

Macbook Pro Issues - No Extended Desktop No Internet

Before purchasing this adapter, I had a monitor connected to my Macbook Pro using an HDMI to USB-C cable. I bought another monitor and bought this adapter to connect both monitors to my Macbook Pro. I bought this particular adapter so I can connect both monitors using the same USB-C port. When I connected my monitors to the adapter, the desktop was only duplicated/mirrored (although I had disabled desktop mirroring in System Preferences > Display). And in the system settings, the second…
