I hate to trample on the product but when I got 2 of these SSDs with the same issue I had to let people know. I spent the better part of two days troubleshooting and researching the issue and couldn't find a solution. Phone support is almost non-existent (3 hours a day, Mon) so I started a ticket. I really enjoyed using this with my new 16" MacBook Pro (2019). However, via USB-C the device is not recognized at all. When I use a USB adapter to connect it to an older 15" MacBook Pro (2012) it connected but at less than 50% speed.
