I purchased these pants in 2019 and the first pair fit so well that I ordered 7 more in different colors. I wear these pants for work. The elastic around the waist is firm, not but binding, and is very comfortable. The pockets are wonderful and deep. My suggestion for cutting the length: lay the pants down flat and use a ruler and fabric chalk to mark where you want to cut. I purchased the grey pants but they are not a charcoal grey more a blue grey so they look more blue-but not a problem for me. Finally pants that are long enough for me and comfortable around the waist! They washed very well and I’m not going to cut them at all so they stay nice and long. I would purchase again.

I loved that they had the longer inseams available, but the waist size was on the smaller/tighter side for the size. So, order a size larger than you think you’d want/need - even if you want it snug - for slimming affect. This was too tight and wasn’t comfortable.

My height is 5'6 and my weight is 175. I ordered the Large thinking it would fit, unfortunately I underestimated the thickness of my butt hips and thighs lol the pants fit, but barely. At first I didn't think I would get these pants past my hips, but I did. Once I did, I must admit the pants fit, but are a little too tight at the same time.
