First print with TPU

I have tried PETG with no success, same with ABS. I very much doubted TPU. I took a chance and WOW, tried first and got good results. I printed on an Anet A8 direct extruder, 25 mm/s, everything moves even without retraction, as you can see from the tension. Die temperature 215°C, bed 69°C. The fan is not on. I tried pink first.

Pros
  • Recommended for printing objects that are more affected than normal.
Cons
  • Only available in white

Reliably the best product for additive manufacturing

This is my favorite thread. I print on a 40°C glass bed at 200°C for the first layer and 215°C thereafter. No cooling on the first layer. I print at 30mm/s and 15mm/s on the first layer. I can usually increase the speed by up to 20% when printing. The thread doesn't seem to care if the bed is clean or lightly rubbed with wet glue. Very durable if properly cut before printing. Good stuff.

Pros
  • Resistant to oils, greases and abrasion.
Cons
  • I will add later

Quality thread, the price of which is usually too high.

I received a pack for the promotion. Otherwise these small coils are not cost effective. The filament prints well at 40 mm/s, 210 °C and bed temperature. I'm printing with an Ender 3 modified with a BMG direct drive installation. One of the vacuum coils was not fully sealed, which is having a negative impact on print quality. Unlike other colors, it stretches a lot. Conclusion: quality thread, slightly overpriced. If you are looking for something cheaper but high quality, try Yoyi TPU. Updated…
