As an avid trail runner, these shoes are hands down the best I have ever worn. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that these shoes offer exceptional traction on even the most rugged terrain, and are incredibly comfortable throughout long runs. Plus, they are stylish enough to wear as part of my Women's Fashion wardrobe on off-days. Disappointed. At first I was thrilled that these shoes were comfortable and had good support. I stuck to my watertight opinion until I could get them through a few conditions. Great shoe for working on rough terrain. My wife is a weapons instructor and very active. She loves these shoes, this is her third pair. She drives them into the ground. Except when she's going on a serious hike (with lots of rocks, although she still wears them occasionally) and putting on boots, these shoes pretty much cover everything she needs.
