Great shoe for working on rough terrain. My wife is a weapons instructor and very active. She loves these shoes, this is her third pair. She drives them into the ground. Except when she's going on a serious hike (with lots of rocks, although she still wears them occasionally) and putting on boots, these shoes pretty much cover everything she needs. Urban areas, shooting ranges, outdoor activities, and sprints when necessary, they work well. They will wear out a little quicker than average I'd say. Although as active as we are and as active as my wife, she has not yet abused her gear but has forced it to keep up with her. This is compliant. Buy with confidence.
