My computer is a few years old but the processor is decent (i3). But it got slow. My brother, a computer genius, said I just needed more RAM. Just going from 4GB to 8GB makes a big difference. If I had known it was that cheap and easy, I would have done it a long time ago.

Upgraded a computer my aunt gave me with this. Hasn't been used much as I built a gaming rig a few months later so can't speak about reliability but they did the job. If you're just trying to squeeze a little more life out of an old desktop and it's compatible with your MoBo, adding RAM will definitely help. Low memory is a major factor I've observed when upgrading older PCs to Win10.

I ordered two sticks of this RAM to install on HP Elite 8300 CMT. They arrived quickly and were identical to the other two sticks that came with my HP. The installation took about 2 minutes and the BIOS recognized the new RAM the first time. Windows 10 is definitely faster. Highly recommended!
