Samsung DA29 00020B HAF CIN Refrigerator Filter Review

I bought a set of two replacement water filters for my Samsung fridge. Although the cartridge and filter model numbers match the original filter, this product is not original as it has one o-ring on the filter mouth versus two o-rings on the original filter neck (see photo). I tried inserting it into the filter hole but it wouldn't snap into place. I am returning these useless filters.

UPDATE: The company contacted me after I wrote this review. Got a replacement filter today. I support my review, but I understand that it was most likely a faulty filter. Works but is too long, irregularly shaped and the clear flap of the filter cover doesn't close completely. It's a good thing that at least the refrigerator doors close, because the water had to be turned off to change the filter, which meant that the refrigerator had to be removed from the wall. Confusing part numbers. I ordered 2 packs of these filters, choosing the number carefully from the information on Revain. Obviously there are many different cartridges to choose from. I used the model code and system numbers of the cartridges and the filters looked like I needed them. However, when I tried replacing the filter, I found that the old one was shorter. Bought two packs and couldn't fit the filter. My fiancé made it in and all was fine for about four weeks until one afternoon last week I was in the kitchen and had just started pouring water out of our Samsung fridge!
