Pros
- One fine day I decided that there should be a tablet at home that would not be inferior in speed to my galaxy note 20 ultra and it would be the same with spen. The uncontested choice was between s8+ and s8 ultra. I am very glad that I took the S8 +, since, although I didnโt plan to, I began to take the tablet with me quite often and now I understand that ultra is a purely domestic resident due to its dimensions and it would be extremely difficult to use it on the road. In the case of s8 +, this is the golden mean, a large diagonal, but you can also use it on the go. It is very thin and can be removed both in a backpack and in a bag (the size is like A4 paper) I use the tablet for 90% for entertainment, you tube, movies, chess, etc. Sometimes for editing video in adobe rush, it copes with 4k files easily and practically does not heat up. The sound from the speakers with Dolby Atmos enabled is just great. There is nothing to write about the screen, as usual with samsung it is gorgeous. If you play call of duty, etc. it is better to do this with the keyboard due to the size of the tablet itself, it is not very convenient to manage. (games of course go without problems) A very nice addition is the Dex mode (opens a full-fledged multi-window mode), alternating it with the usual mode, depending on mood and tasks. It is very convenient that you can connect your smart samsung over the air (built-in application) and while it is charging fully use it from the tablet. There are no complaints about the battery, it works for a long time, it charges quickly if you have a powerful charging unit. The pen has the same functionality as the note line of smartphones. I'm used to using it very often even in simple tasks on a smart phone, it's also useful for less screen splattering. I donโt need a keyboard and therefore I bought a simple branded magnetic cover (for crazy 7900), but you can get it much cheaper on alik, then Iโll try to buy it there. The tactile feel is very pleasant. The connection is stable.
Cons
- It would be better if the pen was smaller so that it could be removed and charged accordingly in the case, as is done with galaxy smartphones with a stylus. In addition, having tried to use a pen from a smartphone, I did not feel any discomfort. For some reason, in a branded magnetic case, the charging point of the stylus is not covered by a casing for the pen, since this is done on the same case with a keyboard. It is good that the pen fulfills its main purpose even when discharged. And yes, it charges very quickly. There are non-critical interface bugs in dex mode. The automatic switching of buts pro headphones from a smartphone to a tablet does not always work stably, but this is more a claim to the galaxy wearable application, and not to a tablet. But it's good that there is such an opportunity at all and they work generally well.
