My experience with the 7t

Have been using the 7t in my shared living room for a month now. Even with a good soundbar. Had to return the soundbar last week as the sound from the projector is very good for most viewing. Paired it with a bluetooth headset for better sound quality. I project it on a white wall (not an ALR screen yet) and it's very good even if it's not completely dark. Great picture with great Smart TV features

I was looking for a UST projector and I really wanted the LG HU85LA projector, widely recognized as one of the best UST projectors, but I was struggling spending so much and have settled on this as a more economical approach. If you're not interested in Smart TV features and just want to use it with an Apple TV or similar, VAVA or Optoma are probably better for you. Samsung vs Optoma P2

This is my second UST projector in 4 months. The first was the Optoma CinemaX P2. The Optoma was brought back due to the unreliability of the HDCP handshake, which resulted in snow and frame cycles. Samsung is a more compact device with a much better menu system. Switching on the Samsung takes a maximum of 10 seconds versus 1-2 minutes for the Optoma. Review 120 and 130. 130 Amazing

is good. There's no noticeable lag in games, but a lot of it is broken. read reviews. Mine came to my house and the 2nd HDMI port is losing the signal. Now the noise keeps disappearing. Samsung needs to fix bugs. I know the 130 is better built. I really like this projector and will see if the 130 is better, if so I'll keep it. But many of them are wrong. To stay updated. To update. Good and bad. All in all a good first attempt at fixing a few issues

Update November 16, 2020 Samsung finally contacted me and I received a call from a member of their engineering team working on these projectors. Obviously knowledgeable. We're working on the underlying issue and a fix if possible. Some improvement is visible, but still not "perfect". However, the LSP7T is much better than the Optoma P1 or P2 and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to any other sub-4k UST on the market.
