1. PWM that kills the eyes when using the screen for a long time. This is the disease of all Samsung phones.
2. Stupid rounded edges that do not carry any functional load (we are talking about the Edge panel) and because of which a protective glass cannot be used. They ostensibly give the phone a special premium look, but in fact, this is just marketing. The silicone film does not protect the screen, I already broke it by dropping the smartphone.
3. Terrible focus. Especially in low light. No firmware ates will fix it, it is technically impossible to do.
4. A hundredfold digital zoom is pure marketing, it is absolutely useless.
5. Why does a smartphone need 12 gigs of RAM, and even more so, 16? To cost more?
6. The under-screen unlock sensor is just disgusting! Sometimes it refuses to work at all, despite repeated attempts to unlock it. You have to enter the code manually. And this despite the lack of protective glass!
7. The same can be said about unlocking with the front camera. Doesn't work in low light, doesn't recognize when wearing sunglasses.
8. The phone is quite heavy and massive, it barely fits in a pocket. Although, this is rather not a minus, but a necessity with such a screen diagonal and battery size.
9. The camera block sticks out a lot, although this can be fixed by wearing a thick protective case, but then the phone, already large, becomes even more massive. If the cover is not used, there is a risk of damage to the unit.
10. Another big minus is low autonomy, despite a powerful 5000 mAh battery. And this is despite the fact that I never use a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz and I have the dimming mode enabled on a permanent basis, which, in theory, should save up to 40% of the energy consumed by the screen. But my phone barely lasts until the evening . What will happen to it if you turn on 120 Hz and a light theme? Enough for half a day of active use? Problem with optimization?
11. Exynos 990.
12. Price $1400. I think it is unreasonably high, considering all of the above.
