The filter pump is used for mechanical water purification by circulating the pool water through the filter component (glass or quartz sand) located in the unit. Connects to standard pool systems via input/output hoses. Water flows from the pool through a hose to the filter pump, passes through the sand, leaving impurities on it, and returns back to the pool. The filtration quality of the sand filter is one and a half times higher than the cartridge counterpart. Sand must be changed every 2-5 years. The filter pump is equipped with a 6-position mode switching valve, there is a backwash and a timer. The sand filter pump has a massive size compared to the cartridge filter pump, but is more advantageous on consumables. Quartz or glass sand is used. Connection hose diameter: 38 mm.
