The Perfect Selection of the Best Sanding Discs

This is a great selection of 6 inch velcro sanding discs. It comes with many different great ones for different uses. Whether I use it on metal or wood they have worked and held up very well. The velcro attaches very well to my 6 inch random orbit sander and I am very happy with this purchase. I love the fact that I have such a wide range of sizes to use for a variety of applications. Much better than going to the store and buying each pack individually.

Pretty bad, needs better filters.

I think they work well for metal projects, but on wood I constantly struggle with one or two grains on each pad being rougher than the others. This means that while I'm sanding down the right grit, I'm smoothing out the scratches from the previous coarser grit, while a coarse grit or two will bring back the big scratches. I've mostly tried this on hardwood, so I can't say how it would work on metal or softer wood. I ended up buying a set of gold colored pads which are much better.

Pros
  • Velcro Discs
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

I am happy with the quality and durability. A comprehensive package.

Price and quality seems great. I'm not sure about the reviews of others and the nature of their projects. Of course if you are a professional mold making, door and furniture making and finishing company there can be a notable difference when you use it for the costly professional finishing, but I do the job paintwork and fiberglass on a 40ft boat and some basic woodworking projects. Quality, price and durability seem satisfactory to me. My box design that came is a small sketch and falls apart…

Great price but short life Discs

I sand oak floors and oak stairs with a Bosch get65-6n sander in turbo mode. I used another sander to remove most of the finish from the wood and then used these 40 grit discs to remove any remaining clear finish and stains. The discs start out great, but after less than a minute of grinding, they don't work as well. They are like using 80 grit or higher discs and just buffing the wood. The discs still "feel" a little rough, but they don't cut like they used to. Competitive drives last at least
