Not working as advertised but useful for me

Well I'm uploading the same screenshot as the others. funny how they say they haven't seen any issues with previous iPhones; obviously others have this problem too. I also can't fill out the RMA form as reported by another reviewer. I have an iPhone X and I think this is the problem. So I can't move photos from the phone to the drive, but I can move photos from the drive to the phone and that's the main reason I bought it. Now I can avoid iTunes or other internet programs when downloading files

Buy it to transfer photos, but maybe not so much music

This iXPand Flash Drive is great for easily transferring photos from my iPhone 8 or my wife's iPhone 6+ to my iMac! Unfortunately I didn't buy it for that. The ad talks about using it to "play music". Well, that's all he can do when it comes to music. and not so well on the iPhone 6+. It cannot be used to download and transfer music from iPhone to iMac (like you can with photos). However, you can drag a copy of your iTunes music library (mine comes mostly from "ripped" CDs I have) onto an…

I had a problem. Call support. They dropped the ball.

Mixed rating. I like the drive. The support completely let me down. I emailed customer support because when I moved the image file from my iPhone to IXpand and then plugged it into my PC's USB port, I couldn't read the file. HEIF (.HEIC extension). Technical support informed me that the file format is not supported. The real answer was that I have to change the settings on the iPhone to save as jpg or get a program to convert the file formats. iPhone new image format cannot be viewed in Win 10…

Worked well until it broke

UPDATE 6 months later: I tried using this on my iPhone a few days ago and the SanDisk app didn't recognize the drive. Very strange, because when I connected the drive to the phone, it immediately launched the application! I followed the suggested steps to reconnect but didn't leave. Since the warranty is under 1 year I filled out a return authorization request from SanDisk which they approved and just sent it back for a replacement. props for them because they are easy to replace. Hope the new…

Share my files/photos

It's fast, auto-loads, and seems to have a lot of features. However, unlike other brands I've used, this flash drive doesn't download them to the albums they originally have on your phone. Instead, they are sorted into albums by date. (They say they are in albums by date, but in reality they are mostly scattered). The whole organization is a complete mess, I can't find anything I downloaded because he put my photos in random albums that he made himself instead of keeping them in one folder…
