I wrote a very negative review earlier because I bought this product to add channels to my Roku. The addendum states that it works with Roku 2 and 3. It doesn't work in the SD slot for adding channels to the Roku, but when used in the included basket it works very well for streaming media and images. If you want an SD card to add channels this isn't for you, but for media storage and streaming it's great!

I followed simple instructions. USB plugged in with scan minidisk and nothing. Couldn't get recognition. Useless. I bought it because another brand was not recognized by the ROKU player. I bought this because it was advertised as compatible with ROKU. Doesn't work and isn't recognized and doesn't appear to be compatible. In general, I blame ROKU and the manufacturer. Times are tough and spending money on things that generally seem like a joke isn't the best way to do business.

Works with Roku Ultra with SD card slot. The newer Roku Ultra (Late 2020) appears to have removed the slot feature. At first I had a bit of an issue with the SD card working with my Roku Ultra, but after I put the card back into the slot the card's setup/initialization process seemed to resolve itself. If your Roku Ultra is acting strange after installing the card, slide it out. SD card and reinsert it. Also, the slit doesn't determine which side is up. So if it doesn't fit well, flip it over.

Roku does NOT recognize it. I have tried different ways and looked at several sites of instructions on the internet. I saw a page that said you need a "class 10" device and this is only "class 4". This could be a problem. It works fine as a 32GB flash drive though, so I'll keep it to myself as it's not a bad price and includes a chip reader. I should have read more reviews. Many customers have complained that this card does not work with some versions of Roku. I would suggest checking out the Roku website before buying, especially if you have a Roku 2 which I believe is limited to 16GB and may not work with SanDisks. I have a Roku Ultra and it works great. Once inserted, Roku immediately began formatting the device. I had to reboot a few times to restore the WiFi settings.
