Description of Sashiko Needles Straight Thick Size Sewing

Speficially Designed Needles for Sashiko Stitching based on the active Sashiko artists voice. 4 needles in a beautiful clear plastic container. Size: 0.91mm x 51.5mm. When using the Sashiko thread in double, this "Big Eye Straight Thick Size" is the best choice. When you want to make single size stitching, have the thin size needles. Sashiko requires the needle to have very small needle-eye to avoid the damage to the fabric. This Needle is designed to have as "big eye" as possible for the best Sashiko Result.

Disappointing Needles for Arts and Crafts

based on our own experience, THESE needles are not worth the purchase. The thick size made it difficult to sew through fabric and we had to constantly tug and pull. While they may be suitable for certain heavy-duty projects, they are not versatile enough for typical arts and crafts sewing needs..

Pros
  • The straight design allows for precise sewing.
Cons
  • The thickness makes it difficult to sew and maneuver.

Very good quality

Their advantage is that the eye does not protrude and is the same size as the needle shaft. This makes it much easier to pull the fabric through when working with thicker threads. It's also a high quality needle that won't bend or break. This is important when hand sewing, especially sashiko with a coarse stitch or thick thread.

Pros
  • Sharp objects
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
