It's actually more personal, I have to say it's very heavy. Good for heavy work. Just don't overdo it. Use a good quality lubricating oil and it should last a long time.

We have a couple of trucks for the family business and one of them always breaks down. So to speak. It's pretty much ready to go right out of the box. We had to fill it with oil and then we just tested it on the heaviest truck. It just worked, much better than other jacks we have. In the end it was stowed directly in the best van for possible need.

SATA Heavy Duty (2.5T) Service Jack is a must for us. We have larger vehicles and the small scissor jacks that come with our vehicles just don't fit. They didn't lift our cars high enough to change tires. This jack was the solution to our car maintenance problems. It's elegant and easy to use. It's hard and safe. It fits under the truck's tool box and is available when we need it.

This jack is ready to use, just place the handle on it and start lifting things. This jack will easily lift a 3/4 ton truck. A handy large mug to hold on to and stay in place. One thing you might find a little negative is that the bowl is a bit deep, which can result in the top of the cup touching the body or other fragile parts. It compares well to my 4 ton jack except it's 30 pounds lighter which is nice.

This is an amazing jack, strong and very durable. It even arrived in perfect condition. So often heavy tools like this get a little dented in transit, but this one was packaged well so it wasn't damaged. Another reviewer stated that oil needed topping up, mine didn't. It was packaged well (despite weighing around 70lbs, the packaging wasn't damaged, it was in good condition) and all I had to do was remove the plastic shipping clip (see the black plastic item in the photo) , and that's it was nice.
