my husband is happy with it so far. He thinks they have a smooth ride and he felt comfortable using them. They cut well and easily cut through 12 gauge extension. They appear to be well made and they are a handy tool for his various jobs.
I ordered these and got one that didn't close completely leaving a 1/16 inch gap. I can use steel or stone to see if I can sharpen the edges a bit. I love these tongs; They're just a little boring for the thick wire I'm planning to
I'll never have enough hand tools. I have been using and collecting hand and power tools for decades. You may think I have a full hardware store now, but I don't. I have a lot of tools, but the most common tools that everyone uses are the ones that I have to change constantly, like pliers. If tools are constantly being borrowed, I guarantee that when "borrowing" becomes "I have no idea where they are" you will buy some again. Either way, these are nice little pliers.
