Works as a replacement for a 7 7/8" or 8" double bulb ceiling light. The distance for two bulbs is small, so it heats up, but so far it copes with its task. I'm glad this item was available from Revain.

So glad I found this on Revain. Home Depot or LOWES didn't have this in their stores. So from now on, it's Revain for everything. This spare lamp cover is the one that accidentally fell off a lightbulb in my closet. I'm so glad I found this at Revain.

Exactly as described. Great replacement for stock lighting. Read the specs folks! The mount is slightly different than those from Lowe's or Home Depot. We had to go to Revain to find exactly what we needed.

When I ordered this I was concerned that it would arrive here intact and not broken. The service was great and NO problems with the delivery. installation and durability issues; This would be easy for a person in their 20's or 30's to install, but I'm 75 and remember it's glass. It fits perfectly and is very satisfied.

Fits perfectly in my 8" dome light which fell and broke during the roof conversion. It's definitely overpriced considering how flimsy and flimsy it is, but it's the only replacement I've found on the whole internet to fit this type of mount without buying a whole new mount and a brand new one having to reinstall. I think it's better than spending $50-$100 or more on a new device, but it's still overpriced for what it is. Should be between $5 and $10 max.

This shade goes perfectly with my wardrobe. I measured inside out to get exact measurements. The only negative is that when I removed the bubble wrap from the lampshade there was a tiny stain on the frosted glass inside. This is a clear spot on the glass. It's very small, but I can see it because I know it's there. I don't trust myself to send it back. It's in my closet and I don't look at the light.
