This is a good replacement for old Colman fluorescent lamps. Glows brighter than an old incandescent bulb with the same output.

As described, works great and inexpensive. I bought to just replace one of those available at the time, but when I returned to stock the price doubled. looser.

The picture of the lamp I ordered showed 4 pins on the base. There are 4 contacts in the product description. The light I received has 2 pins with a plastic bar between the pins, like the base of the G-23. Will not work.

I was glad to find these lightbulbs. Fits my lamp unlike other brands. Finding the right size is getting harder and harder. They work great. But I was lucky because they were just thrown in a box unprotected and shipped. Amazing they didn't break.

It took longer to get the bulb out of the box than to replace it. I unscrewed the ball, slid the lamp latches aside, undid the old one, put the new one in, screwed on the ball, voila! It's just as bright as the original, and while it's not exactly warm, its 4100K is a warmer/orange tone than the factory 6100K and isn't as harsh at night.
